What is a Facebook Milestone?
Facebook Milestones are additional ways that Timeline has made it easier for businesses and people to tell and share their stories. Milestones are key moments that you can highlight on your page.
For profile and fan pages, this is a helpful tool that gives your page some life. You can recount your first sale, profit, release of a certain successful product line, when your company moved, and so on. Once you create a Milestone, it will automatically expand to widescreen (taking up both sides of the column) and become visible to whoever visits your page.
Above is a picture of a recent Milestone. This Milestone shows our recent induction into the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce. As you can see and as mentioned before, Milestones will appear larger than regular posts to magnify their significance. They appear 842 by 403 pixels.

#1: Click Milestones in the sharing tool at the top of your Page's timeline
#2: Add a headline, location, date, and details
#3: Choose to add a Photo
#4: Click Save
